  Catholic Way Bible Study (CWBS) resumes in late August 26/27, 2019.  “Why do I study the Bible?  I started going to Catholic Way Bible Study in Lexington eight years ago because I wanted to strengthen my knowledge of my Catholic faith so that I could explain it and defend it, if necessary. Since my Catholic education largely ended when I graduated from Lexington Catholic in 1969, I knew I had forgotten a great deal of what I learned in grade school and high school, plus I had never studied the Bible.  I quickly realized that Catholic Way Bible Study was the perfect remedy. It required me to delve into the Old and New Testaments as well as the Catechism of the Catholic Church to answer the weekly homework questions. And Lavinia Spirito's lectures reminded me that I am called to be a disciple and to evangelize.” -- Anne Dadds, parishioner. 
  
  Who else would benefit from CWBS?
   

  • Any cradle Catholic who wants a deeper understanding of their faith.
  • Anyone who wants to be able to defend their faith or correct mistaken ideas about it.
  • Anyone who has been through RCIA and wants to continue their exploration of Catholicism.
  • Anyone who has made their Cursillo and wants reinforcement of what they experienced during that weekend.
  • Anyone who is interested in becoming Catholic.
  • Anyone interested in meeting like-minded individuals, who are on the same journey.
