The Parish Pastoral Council consists of the Pastor and various leadership representatives of ministries within our Saints Francis and John Catholic Parish, that overall serve as the structure within our communal family. As stated by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, "The Church, as an ordered communion, needs a structure that provides for the sharing of responsibility through advisement, advocacy, and accomplishment" (Secretariat for Family, Laity, Women and Youth, Selecting Effective Pastoral Council Members. 2004).
The Parish Pastoral Council members of Saints Francis and John Catholic Parish are the Pastor and representatives from the Finance Council, Stewardship Committee, Building Committee, Worship Committee, Youth Group, School Board Committee, Formation Committee, Parish Life, Hispanic Committee, Facilities Assessment Committee, Ave Maria Ladies, Knights of Columbus, and Members At Large. Each representative serves to advise and consult with the Pastor, and other members of the Parish Pastoral Council, from the perspective of the groups they represent.
